After searching around the web for a poker website to play on / a poker tracking software to use, I have finally decided on playing on Full Tilt and making the investment in Holdem Manager to help me learn along the way and analyze my game. I must say, when I first started researching online poker, I didn’t think it would be as advanced as it is. I have come to understand (from reading various poker forums / blogs) that if I do not have a poker manager, then I might as well not play at all because there will be little chance that I actually get better and and even smaller chance that I will win. So, as part of my initial investment in my poker game, I have made the decision to buy Holdem Manager.  I am feeling good about my decision as many people have stated that this is one of the best, if not the best, poker manager available on the market.  I have yet to play my fist hand and I am getting excited to do so.  I have managed to get a friend to transfer me $200 using an FTP transfer so my initial poker investment is $289.99 (including Holdem Manager).  Before I start playing, I figure I better learn how to use it so I can try to not be looking at the software the whole time the cards are flying.

If anyone has any other suggestions or recommends any of the HM Apps (:as they are called), I would love to hear them as I really am committing myself to learning how to play poker.

Wish me luck!
